We grow on traditional farms but also in non-traditional urban spaces. In doing so, we continue to follow the long standing traditions of our ancestors of working with what we have. We share an online space where we chat and meet virtually to inspire, uplift, and help educate each other about our industry. At a time when most flowers are grown thousands of miles from where they are purchased, Black flower farmers have reclaimed a legacy which celebrates our hands in the soil, encourages growing our knowledge of the earth, and builds community through local agriculture.
